Microcreds overview
The purpose of this module is to provide the student with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and expertise regarding the principles underpinning perioperative nursing at specialist/advanced practice levels. Please note students must complete this module in order to advance to NS6082 Managing and Co-Ordinating Peri-Operative Nursing.Â
Requirements
A Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of either prior successful completion of a degree qualification taught through the medium of English or meet criteria identified in the English Language qualifications set by the University of Limerick. Applicable to each module Please note students must complete this module in order to advance to NS6082 Managing and Co-Ordinating Peri-Operative Nursing. Applicants must be working in perioperative theatre to undertake this module. Successful completion of this module does not automatically qualify you for entry into a further award. All programme applicants must meet the entry requirements listed if applying for a further award.
