Microcreds overview
This micro-credential is suitable for students who need to complete the required area of study Aesthetic and Expressive Activities to meet the registration requirements set down in the Teaching Council Regulation for Physical Education.
The purpose of this module is to develop physical education teachers that are confident in the subject content of dance and gymnastics and demonstrate effectively, and plan safe, enjoyable meaningful educational Physical Activity experiences.
Being creative is central to these subjects and as such this module is an ideal opportunity for students to take ownership of their work.
Requirements
Completion (or nearing completion) of an NFQ level 8 qualification or equivalent is required.
All applications will be screened and shortlisted considering two criteria: (1) Education, awards, current grades, (undergraduate, postgraduate); and (2) Personal statement following application, applicants will be asked to provide a personal statement. Your Guide to Personal Statements
