Bringing a product to the market requires an understanding of concept creation, idea development, testing and quality improvement, all within the confines of regulatory requirements. This module integrates the principles and methods of engineering, science and innovation into the lifecycle of marketed industrial products. This coursework is Aimed at individuals seeking to improve their knowledge in the topics of product development, validation and authorisation. Owing to common applicability of these industrial areas, concepts introduced will be generic in nature but this module will also cater for the more advanced, sector-specific, needs such as those within agri-food, medical technologies and pharmaceuticals. Through the module's project assessment, the learner will gain practical experience of the stages of product development, validation and/or authorisation within their industry.
