This micro-credential is for business innovators and leaders and data engineers moving to a management role. It provides a road map to successfully exploit analytics and big data to bridge the gap between analytical concepts and the value that it can create.
It is designed to cover a range of topics such as development and management of big data strategy, identifying opportunities within AI and predictive analytics, exploring new big data sources such as text and network data, aligning big data strategy with technology and the automation of business processes using predictive analysis.
Delivered through practical examples, this course guides candidates in understanding the technology behind AI and big data with the aim to enhance communications and collaboration between business leaders and technologists.
Data and Analytics Strategy: discussing the development of a data and analytics strategy and providing a road map to improve your organisation's data driven maturity.
Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence: helping understand the potential of multiple analytical and AI techniques.
Big Data Technology: discussing how to align a Big Data strategy with technology requirements.
Cultivating Data and Analytics: focusing on how to navigate your organisation towards more data driven decision making and communicate AI initiatives to stakeholders and customers, considering new regulations.
How will this Micro-credential be delivered?
- This course will be delivered online over a 6-week period
- The course will consist of a total of 6 sessions, which will be lecture-led synchronous sessions of 2,5 hours each (6 pm - 8.30 pm).
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years professional or managerial work experience.
- Up to date CV required.
HCI Fees Subsidy
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may qualify for a 80% fee subsidy, subject to the availability of subsidized places.
