Micro-credential Learner Fee Subsidy 2026
The Micro-credential Learner Fee Subsidy has been introduced to enable more learners to address critical skills gaps and engage with lifelong learning through short, flexible courses known as micro-credentials. The Micro-credential Learner Fee Subsidy is funded by Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.
The subsidy is available on identified micro-credentials only up until December 2026. Higher Education Institutions will issue the subsidy on a first come first serve basis to eligible applicants unless otherwise stated.
